India were shot out for 215 with the spin-pace combo of Simon Harmer (4/7
and Morne Morkel (3/35) being the wreckers-in-chief. In reply, South Africa were also in spot of bother, reduced to 11/2 at stumps. "It’s definitely a result-oriented wicket which is equally challenging for both sides. Whichever side adjusts to it (better) will end up with a chance of winning the game,†said Bangar at the end of Day One in the penultimate game of the four-match rubber. Though the Indian batting effort lasted just 78.2 overs, and the highest score was an innings of 40 from in-form opener Murali Vijay, Bangar said all his batsmen applied themselves to the hard task. "All our batsmen applied themselves well. But when the wicket is slightly challenging there are likely to be errors in judgement.
It’s all part of the game.†India, leading the series 1-0, hit back after being bowled out cheaply, by dismissing two visiting team’s batsmen with only 4 runs on the board and there’s every likelihood of the game not lasting even four days, let alone five. He further said in defence of the hosts’ tactics in the series that teams visiting the Indian sub-continent should expect such conditions. "When India travel overseas, ball starts seaming from the first over. "It’s the same for teams coming to subcontinent. "Wickets are same for both sides; it is

Because Of Multiple Expected Synergies
Tata Global Beverages currently reaches out to 110 million households. Analysts feel Tata will follow both organic and inorganic routes to expand its product portfolio with new categories. Tata Consumer Products will become a platform for the salt-to-software conglomerate’s aggressive aspirations in the FMCG business. Once
wholesale Auto Door Rubber Seals the new entity consolidates its brands and integrates distribution, it will be seen entering high-growth, high-margin categories in the consumer business.
The combined entity has a total revenue of Rs 9,099 crore as of FY19, Ebitda of Rs 1,154 crore, Ebitda margin of 12.7 per cent and net profit of Rs 612 crore. "Without assuming any revenue or cost synergies, the transaction would be earnings per share-neutral for Tata Global Beverages in the first year and accretive to the extent of 6 per cent by FY2023,†finds Kotak Institutional Equities.Motilal Oswal Securities believes that the consumer business is a re-rating candidate because of multiple expected synergies, including higher outlet coverage, focused new product development, stronger cash flow generation and scale efficiencies. The deal itself has increased the distribution footprint of the new entity by 30 per cent compared to that of Tata Global Beverages. The products will be present in 2.5 million retail outlets and 5,000 stockists and distributors. It will have a rural presence in 80,000 villages with two lakh outlets and will be able to reach out to 200 million households.
Tata Global Beverages currently reaches out to 110 million households. Integration of distribution channels would be one of the initial tasks for the new entity. Combined distribution will deepen the reach of each product and add to their sales.Consolidation of brands will be another major task. Salt, Tea and Coffee are currently the three major categories of Tata Consumer Products. Tea accounts for 57 per cent of the sales, salt 18 per cent and coffee 13 per cent. Emerging segments like pulses, spices, ready-to-eat mixed and other nutrition products account for the remaining 12 per cent sales and these were promoted aggressively in the past few years through modern trade and e-commerce channels.
Kotak Securities expects that Tata will retain leadership in tea and innovate in salt, continue to ramp up Tata Starbucks and improve distribution of Himalayan brand of packaged drinking water.Post-consolidation of the existing brands, it will look into newer categories like dairy, personal care and home care. The group has been in talks with Prabhat Dairy earlier and reports suggest that it is still pursuing the Rs 1 lakh crore organised dairy market. It had recently made a pilot launch of Tata DX detergent in West Bengal, re-entering into the homecare segment. Brands like Hamam, Moti, 501 and OK were once owned by erstwhile Tata Oil Mills. Analysts feel Tata will follow both organic and inorganic routes to expand its product portfolio with new categories.

Threatening Their Own Reprisals
The tariffs may just be the first shot in a ballooning war, as Trump has warned that he could ratchet up the measures to include USD 450 billion in goods -- the vast majority of all of China

The US-China spat is one of several trade fights picked by the protectionist President Donald Trump as his "America First" agenda clashes with free-trade relations with traditional allies. However, signs of a possible thaw emerged on July 5 when the US ambassador in Berlin told bosses at Germanys biggest car firms that Washington was calling on the EU to bring tariffs to zero on car imports -- in exchange for equal treatment.
The complex web of commercial ties under threat has raised prospect of global trade war, sending financial markets tumbling. From blue jeans to motorbikes and whiskey, the EUs hit-list of products targeted the most emblematic of American exports. Here is a summary of Trumps trade conflicts:ChinaAfter weeks of apparently fruitless negotiations, the US imposed tariffs on approximately USD 34 billion of Chinese products, sparking an immediate response from Beijing, which said it would hit back but did not provide details.Already a second tranche of tariffs on USD 16 billion in products is under review and could soon be added to the US measures.
The complex web of commercial ties under threat has raised the prospect of a global trade war, sending financial markets tumbling.Trump and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau traded barbs over the steel tariffs at a farcical summit of the G7 richest countries that ended on June 9.Trump has said the European Union is "possibly almost as bad as China" when it comes to trade, as a raft of retaliatory tariffs from Brussels came into effect on June 22.Canada and MexicoCanada and Mexico, both members with the US of the North American Free Trade Agreement, have not been spared the Washington offensive on steel and aluminium, and are threatening their own reprisals. The US-China spat is one of several trade fights picked by the protectionist President Donald Trump as his "America First" agenda clashes with free-trade relations with traditional allies. The United States launched what China called the "largest trade war in economic history" between the worlds top two economies Friday, imposing tariffs on goods worth around USD 34 billion annually..
Europe is also worried Washington will follow up on a threat to impose punitive levies on imported cars, something the powerful German car industry particularly fears. The US tariffs target a wide range of Chinese goods-- including aircraft parts and computer hard drives-- that Washington says have benefited from unfair trade practices.Chinas retaliatory measures were expected to hit back largely at agricultural products designed to hurt Trump supporters.European UnionOn June 1, Trump made good on several months of threats and imposed tariffs of 25 percent on steel imports from the EU, along with 10 percent on aluminium imports.Meanwhile talks among the three NAFTA signatories, launched after Trump demanded an overhaul of the "terrible deal", have snagged notably owing to US demands to increase American content installed in duty-free autos

Maggi now has around 60 per cent market share of the instant noodles segment."We are at little over 60 per cent of the market share and I think we have got a healthy traction of the business. New innovations have seen good responses and I am happy with the progress which has been made with so far," Narayanan added.Maggi commanded a market share of around 75 per cent prior to the five-month ban in 2015. On being asked whether Nestle would be able to cross that figure in the future, he said, ambition is always there and we are trying to get as close as possible to where we were."

Fall Victim To Terrorism And Extremism
Barack Obama has said that he had raised concern about the law with Xi Jinping.Barack Obama has said that he had raised concern about the law with Xi Jinping. Beijing: China is set to pass its controversial new anti-terrorism law on Sunday, the largely rubber-stamp parliament said on Friday, despite US criticism about its cyber provisions and concerns over human rights. The draft law, which could require technology firms to install "back doors" in products or hand over sensitive information such as encryption keys to the government, has also been criticised by some Western business groups.
US President Barack Obama has said that he had raised concern about the law directly with Chinese President Xi Jinping. In a brief statement, China's National People's Congress said it would hold a news briefing on Sunday to talk about the law, following the end of parliament's latest law-making session.Parliament does not challenge or block legislation proposed by the ruling Communist Party, meaning it is certain to pass. This week, the US State Department said it had expressed "serious concerns" about the law which it said would do more harm than good against the threat of terrorism.
China's Foreign Ministry hit back, saying technology companies had nothing to fear and the US had no
Grommet Factory right to intervene. On Thursday, the US Embassy took the unusual step of issuing Christmas security warnings for Westerners in Sanlitun, a popular Beijing diplomatic and entertainment district.Chinese police stepped up patrols, though no specific threat has been reported.China's official Xinhua news agency, in an English-language commentary, said the US should stop harping on about the law and help Beijing fight terrorism instead."It is always the innocent people that fall victim to terrorism and extremism, and that is why the Chinese government is taking concrete actions to protect its people, including ordinary Americans enjoying Christmas in Beijing's Sanlitun," it said.Officials in Washington have argued the law, combined with new draft banking and insurance rules and a slew of anti-trust investigations, amounts to unfair regulatory pressure targeting foreign companies.
China's national security law adopted in July requires all key network infrastructure and information systems to be "secure and controllable".The US has also said the new law could restrict freedom of expression and association.Chinese officials say their country faces a growing threat from militants and separatists, especially in its unruly Western region of Xinjiang, where hundreds have died in violence in the past few years.Rights groups, though, doubt the existence of a cohesive militant group in Xinjiang and say the unrest mostly stems from anger among the region's Muslim Uighur people over restrictions on their religion and culture.

Thus it is important to understand
Arvind Vaid, Chief Infertility Automobile
Tubing Factory & IVF Specialist, Indira IVF Hospital, New
Delhi."Oxytocin is one such injection that not only affects the cattle but
indirectly the humans in the form of dairy products we consume. Thus it is
important to understand how adulterated milk can cause serious health issues in
both males and females. Thus it is important to understand how adulterated milk
can cause serious health issues in both males and females. Hormones like
prolactin, lutenizing hormone(LH), estrogens, progesterone, oxytocin, growth
hormone, thyroid stimulating hormone are present in the milk which may cause
hormonal imbalance leading to infertility in humans as well.
Most of the people are either intolerant to lactose (sugar found in milk) or
allergic to casein (protein in milk) which often goes unnoticed. It can adversely
affect the production of cervical mucus, which in limited quantity helps the
sperm reach the fallopian tube and protects the vaginal lining from acidic
environment. If the cervical mucus turns hostile it can act like a barrier in
the fallopian tube preventing women from conceiving. The injected oxytocin
reaches the human body through consumption of milk or any other dairy product
causing several side effects on all. Thus a little vigilance can help save us
from a number of health and fertility issues.
Milk adulterated with oxytocin should be avoided by pregnant women as it may
lead to abortion and babies may be born with deformities. Milk adulterated with
oxytocin should be avoided by pregnant women as it may lead to abortion and
babies may be born with deformities. Moreover it is also noted that 70 percent of
the Indian population get packed milk (especially in plastics). Cattle are fed
with many steroids and hormonal injections to boost the delivery of milk
production.. Boiling milk can help eliminate traces of oxytocin. Ishita Lunkad,
Pune based gynaecologist. It is a general thought among us that milk is a rich
source of calcium, but we tend to overlook the other components.
Consumption of more than the limit estrogen through diet leads to significant
reduction in the epididymal weight causing decreased sperm motility and
concentration", added Dr.Milk and dairy products are no exception. The most
common symptom starts off with fatigue, irritable bowel syndrome, and repeated
exposure to such allergies sets off a whole body immune response that halts down
the fertility by causing improper ovulation, missing periods, degrading the egg
quality and recurrent miscarriage."Certain amount of estrogen in male is
required especially in the elderly age, but normally excess of estrogen in the
male body leads to disruption of re-absorption of the luminal fluids in the
epididymis leading to infertility. This is one of the reasons for early onset of
puberty among girls, development of breast in male and lack of testosterone
production due to hormonal imbalance. It is one of the reasons in female that
causes high levels of FSH, low levels of AMH, problems in implantation, PCOS and
depleted ovarian reserve. It increases the risk of haemorrhage in mothers after
birth and can also inhibit breastfeeding", said Dr

The more current outline rationality
While it looks very like the Duke 390, nearer examination will uncover a
somewhat extraordinary story. It will also be bereft of the 390&China Silicone
Rubber O-Rings Factory39;s snazzy new TFT instrument cluster and will share
its console with the Duke 200 instead. The bike will hit KTM showrooms on the
day of launch. The most crucial question will be pricing. The international spec
Duke 250 produces 31hp of power at 9000rpm and 24Nm of torque at 7250rpm from
its single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine.Test mules spotted around the Pune
area are reported to be shod with MRF Revz C1 tyres that are seen on Bajaj's
Dominar 400; it will not get the more premium and stickier Metzeler rubber that
the 390 dons.
The more current outline rationality has become considerably more forceful
and this should be a more honed machine to ride than the more seasoned
models. While the Duke 390 and 200 have seen generous styling and mechanical
changes for 2017, the Duke 250 sits between these two as far as what new
hardware it will get.
The Duke 250 will not get the LED headlight strips that are going to be
present on the new Duke 390. KTM has been noiseless around one essential insight
in regards to the dispatch of the 2017 Duke models on the 23rd of
February.Source: Vicky. We expect to see these figures remain for the Indian
models. This is somewhat higher than the 810mm seat stature of the more seasoned
390 and 200 and is the aftereffect of another two-section outline that component
on the Duke 390 and the 250.The Duke 250 will not get the LED headlight strips
that are going to be present on the new Duke 390.Duke 390 and 200 have seen
generous styling and mechanical changes for 2017. That as a flawless reward, we
will likewise be seeing the Duke 250 propelling in India. While its quite
obvious that it will sit somewhere in between the Duke 390 and 200, we will have
a clear answer once the bike launches this Thursday, 23rd February 2017. The
200, but, will proceed with the more established bike's single-piece edge

Fortunately, the Indians appear to have realized where
What could stop a side that looked comprehensively better with bat, ball and
in the field? But at the Eden Gardens, India turned the tables on the cocky
Aussies sensationally after being forced to follow on, V.Fortunately, the
Indians appear to have realized where they were faltering and done a course
correction in time. In the final Test, a humdinger, India held their nerve to
clinch the rubber. The process and method to win Test matches cannot be
predetermined or dependent on bluster. India’s spin trio of Bedi, Chandra and
Prasanna rose to the occasion.Such extraordinary comebacks are not easy. The
bowlers have been consistently brilliant.33rd Day Of Lockdown Total Cases 26,283 Rubber gasket
Factory THE ASIAN AGE.Here again the hero was Vishwanath who made a sterling
97 not out of India’s measly first innings score of 190 on a fiery first day
pitch to give his bowlers a semblance of hope.If players fall for their own
bombast, the consequences can be grave. Had it been restricted to five, it would
have been a draw, a fairer result. The remaining two matches promise gripping
fare, and the exciting possibility of come-from-behind series win.
Fundamentally, it comes down to self-belief and playing for pride, of self, team
and country, aided and abetted by smart captaincy.
Needing 310 to win, West Indies were bundled out for 224 by the Bedi,
Chandrashekhar and Co after being 163 for 3 at one stage. What worked at
Nottingham? Mistakes in selection at Lord’s, candidly accepted by Kohli and
Shastri, were rectified. That’s a huge psychological advantage to capitalize on
and could lead to a heady climax in the last match at the Oval.In 2001, India
were overwhelmed so easily by Australia in the first Test at Mumbai that Steve
Waugh’s ambition of ‘conquering the final frontier’ seemed a cinch. Once there
were decent contributions from Rahane, Pujara, Pandya and to some extent Dhawan,
India were able to pin their opponents.
It was not to be.India lost at Bangalore and Delhi. Obviously something has
to click, and some luck is needed too. The West Indies won by 201 runs, a hefty
margin, after a devastating double hundred by Lloyd, intent on proving a
point. The last Test — incidentally the first at the Wankhede Stadium – saw
packed crowds as excitement was at fever pitch. That’s a huge psychological
advantage to capitalize on and could lead to a heady climax in the last match at
the Oval. India’s unexpected and emphatic win in the third Test has given the
current contest against England a tantalising twist. In the current series, India
were badly let down by the batting in two Tests. Clearly some batsmen had been
rapped on the knuckles.V.While they still trail 1-2 in the series, India start
as favourites for the fourth Test, what with England in disarray. The third Test
at Calcutta too looked lost after a paltry first innings score by India. Apart
from the brilliant Kohli, runs were desperately by bowlers to defend. While that
is good for public consumption, on the field of play, the greater need is for
intelligent application of skills, mental toughness and will power. The second
series which I am reminded off goes back a further quarter century, to 1974-75
against West Indies, and in some ways closer to the one being played currently
in England because that too was a five Test contest. The momentum shifted the
other way and India won the next Test at Chennai by 100 runs. This is
unprecedented in overseas Tests for India.Watching the fantastic recovery of
Virat Kohli and team at Nottingham after losing the first two Tests reminds me
of two other series involving India which followed a topsy-turvy path and
produced scintillating cricket. The result could have been straight out of
Ripley’s Believe It Or Not. But a superb second innings century by Gundappa
Vishwanath gave some hope and skipper ‘Tiger’ Pataudi scope to exploit a turning
pitch. Even more importantly I believe, focus was shifted from flamboyance to
diligence, unattractive as it may be. Laxman and Rahul Dravid batting an entire
day without being separated to put their side in the lead

Even so, the results suggest that doctors
For the study, researchers examined nationally-representative survey data,
collected starting in 1985, from 357,420 participants who were followed through
2011. They also had more than seven times the risk of dying from chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease, more than four times the odds of death from oral
cancers, and 43 per cent higher odds of death from a circulatory system
disorder.â€
These data "underscore the importance of complete quitting,†Christensen said
by email. Results suggest that doctors may need to broaden how they discuss
smoking with patients to make sure people understand they’re at risk even when
they don’t have a daily habit.Doctors also need to broaden their message about
smoking and cigarettes to include other tobacco products that are becoming more
popular, said Judith Prochaska, a researcher at Stanford University in
California who wasn’t involved in the study.Even with a non-daily cigarette
habit, people were more than six times more likely to die of lung cancer than
individuals who never used tobacco. Cigarettes are not the only type of tobacco
products that can lead to premature death or fatalities from smoking-related
cancers, a US study confirms.Even so, the results suggest that doctors may need
to broaden how they discuss smoking with patients to make sure people understand
they’re at risk even when they don’t have a daily habit, said Dr. "While
cigarettes remain the primary tobacco product used, cigars, smokeless tobacco,
e-cigarettes, hookah, and even pipe tobacco have seen gains in use, while
cigarette use in the US has been declining.
"The tobacco landscape has been changing dramatically,†Prochaska
added.During the study period, 51,150 people died of all causes.Overall, 203,071
people, or about 57 per cent, never used tobacco at all.â€.Traditionally, doctors
have asked just whether people smoked cigarettes, but they should instead be
questioning patients more broadly about tobacco use, Prochaska said by
email.Another 57,251 participants were current daily cigarette smokers, while
9,414 said they had a less frequent habit and 77,773 were former cigarette
smokers. With a daily cigarette, cigar or pipe habit, people have an elevated
risk of death from tobacco-related cancers.Current cigar smokers had more than
three times the odds of dying of lung cancer, and for current pipe smokers the
risk was 51 per cent higher, compared to never-smokers.Another limitation is
that survey questions about tobacco use changed over time and didn’t determine
how often non-daily smokers might have used cigarettes, cigars or pipes.
For pipes, 1,099 participants had a current daily habit, while 78 people used
pipes less often and 5,237 had quit. When it comes to fatalities from specific
cancers that have been tied to tobacco use, cigarette smokers have four times
the risk of people who never used tobacco, but cigar smokers are 61 per cent
more likely to die of these cancers and pipe users have 58 percent higher odds.
"Patients often do not associate occasional use of cigar or pipes with health
risks, but this study shows that current, particularly daily, cigar use is
associated with increased overall risk of death,†Ong, who wasn’t involved in
the study, said by email. In addition, 531 people were current daily cigar
smokers, while 608 individuals used cigars less frequently and 2,398 had quit.
Michael Ong of the University of California Los Angeles and VA Greater Los
Angeles Healthcare System. The results are limited, however, by the relatively
small numbers of cigar and pipe smokers in the sample, the authors note. With a
daily cigarette, cigar or pipe habit, people had an elevated risk of death from
tobacco-related cancers including malignancies of the bladder, esophagus,
larynx, lung, mouth and throat, and pancreas. "However, this study provides
information that reflects today’s patterns of tobacco use. "We knew exclusive
users of cigars and pipes were at greater risk of disease than people who do not
use tobacco,†said lead study author Carol Christensen of the US Food China
Automobile Tubing Suppliers and Drug Administration’s Center for Tobacco
Products. While people who exclusively smoke cigarettes have twice the risk of
premature death from all causes compared to people who avoid tobacco altogether,
exclusive cigar smokers have a 20 per cent higher risk of early death,
researchers report in JAMA Internal Medicine

vociferous that most of the schools which were open on Wednesday decided to

tried to vandalise shops. However, police team chasing the protestors managed to
avert any major incident.Informing that the Army was called in Bongaigaon

of Scripps Research investigated "natural products" made by organisms such as
soil-dwelling bacteria.Shen and his colleagues then took a closer look at two
natural products, platensimycin and platencin, that have been extensively
investigated as potential antibiotics. (Photo: Pixabay) # Washington: The
bacteria found in soil may harbor a potential game-changer for drug design, a
study has found. The molecules were thought to be rare and were not much
appreciated to date as a family of natural products.A new study by Scripps
Research suggested that scientists could build better drugs by learning from
molecules derived from bacteria called thiocarboxylic acids. To their surprise,
platensimycin and platencin, are actually made by bacteria as thiocarboxylic
acids
